So, I asked my brother what he'd want for a gift from the upcoming auction. He wants a Mustang. He's already got a convertible Mustang. He keeps it in a garage and it never sees even the rain - unless there's a parade. He too goes to parades. He's also a Freemason and is also a Shriner.
He wants a Mustang. I may just pull something from my collection and give it to him. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I sure do own a number of them. In my defense, they're cheap sources of horsepower and legendary. They also hold their value really well. That'd be why I own 'em. I think I've driven one of 'em?
Also, if you could finance a car for $100 a month, how much do you think you would reasonably spend?
I do remember you buying quite a few Mustangs at auctions in the past. You must have know your brother is into them!
If I were to finance a car for $100 a month, you know me, I don't like having bills, so I would go for the least possible. I know I can not get a car that is decent for a thousand dollars, so I would have to go more than that. like 3 to 5 grand I guess.
That's not too bad, 5k is a reasonable number.
Sadly, I'm not sure how great a car you can get for a grand these days. Your local market may be different, but a grand doesn't get you all that far anymore.
I know. That's really the reason I want to repair my car. It would be way cheaper than buying another, especially these days. I remember 20 years ago I bought a Mazda 323 for $300 and drove it for five years and then sold it for $500
