Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I know. That's really the reason I want to repair my car. It would be way cheaper than buying another, especially these days. I remember 20 years ago I bought a Mazda 323 for $300 and drove it for five years and then sold it for $500

I'd realistically worry about your Jag. It has now sat for a long time. It's also reaching the age where repairs are gonna be REALLY expensive.

That it has sat this long would worry the fuck out of me. It's bound to have developed some gremlins while not running. Hell, I'd probably not even trust the tires at this point as I don't think you've moved the car to ensure they don't develop flat spots.

Then, if your area of the world uses E-85 (or similar) you'll have gummed up the fuel delivery system, turning into shellac.

Then, the tranmission has stayed in one position...

The list goes on... I'd be worried about investing money in it - but 'snot my car.

The fuel I used in that vehicle is ethanol free 92 octane premium. But the tires are at about 20% so they needed to be changed anyways. What I am worried about is the computer bricks that run the thing, if those were to go bad that would be a big problem

And they've sat in moisture, cold, and heat - all without any current running through them.

As much as I like that you drive a Jag, it might be time for a new one. If it was me, I'm not sure I'd invest all that much. I guess you could get a head and valves just to see if it'll start again? If it does, you're at least ahead of the game.
