Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I enjoy your company as well. Too bad that's the last football game for eight months.

I did notice the bad lip synching but I think it might be difficult to do the lip synch in a stadium with the way sound echoes around. She may have been in synch with what she heard but those sound waves came from the PA, and are obviously a bit behind the track being played with the echo's and all

She was wearing in-ear monitors (IEMs). She pulled 'em out at one point. And, she was off WAY MORE than the speed of sound would allow. It wasn't consistently behind, either. A good part of the time she was ahead of the music - and sometimes moving her mouth in ways that would in-no way make the same sounds coming from the speakers.

LOL That's what I was drawn to during the show. I didn't pay attention to much else. Hell, I didn't even notice the white blood cell angle until you mentioned it. I just was stuck on her REALLY bad lipsyncing.

Like, open your mouth like you're saying 'ahh' for the doctor. Now, with your mouth open in that position, say the word "something". That's how bad her lipsyncing was.

And, there's more football coming. I've never watched it before, but there's "USFL" coming along. I believe it will all be televised on Fox and ESPN. If I remember, I'll check it out. It is only in its second year, from what I can find. Their website is horrible and their online schedule is a year old. But, they're keeping the 'same' schedule for this year (but I'm sure those dates will be different, they'll just be playing in the same order they played in).

I'm gonna try to remember to check it out. I'll remind you when it's on - assuming I remember.

That's right. I did see those ads for the USFL.

Did you see those Jesus ads? Those were odd.

Maybe her in ear monitors failed. Why else would she take them out during the show?

I missed them. I meant to catch the Jesus ads but I missed them. They've been running ads all season and were supposed to have a spectacular ad during halftime. I read about it when I saw the ads appearing week after week and looked up information about the domain name. So, I was pretty curious about the ad during halftime and I somehow missed it. I was probably peeing or too intent on typing.

USFL looks interesting. They start in March, as memory serves. I'll keep an eye on them. Who knows, maybe it'll be worth watching?

She took the IEMs out at just about the end when she was done with most of the singing. She took them out and handed them off to a dancer at the same time she handed off the microphone so that she could clap her thighs together while posing.

Also, if you're gonna do the Super Bowl, you shouldn't have to depend on IEMs. You should have that shit so rehearsed that you can do it in your sleep. You should be able to execute it perfectly - even if there's no sound at all. Come the fuck on, it's the Super Bowl! Have some goddamned pride in your work when you're performing for millions of people.
