We're going to need some more tires!
I do spend a lot on tires. I count myself lucky if they're $500 each.
They're often directional tires, which most folks don't rotate. If you do want to rotate them diagonally, you have to take them off the rim and mount them in the opposite direction.
BUT...
Many of my tires are staggered. The front and rear wheel tires are completely different sizes - and they're directional...
At least they're not Veyron tires. Those are about 10k each and they recommend sending the whole car back to the factory to change them.
Hell, my Continental GT has an automatic trunk (boot, I guess) lid. The motors like to fail as they have weak plastic teeth in them.
Guess how much it is to replace a trunk lid motor in a Continental GT - and just the cost of the part...
Ten grand?
Nah, not that bad. It's 2 grand - but the wait is about a year 'cause nobody has them in stock.
It's not that they're not in stock in the US, it's that they're not in stock anywhere on the planet.
