ATF is foundationally operating illegally.

Guns are Constitutionally protected and so the ATF has always been a criminal organization along with all their employees.

If they can operate outside the law, I see no reason why everyone shouldn't as long as they can back their people up with force like the ATF and FBI do.

Guns are Constitutionally protected

Guns are constitutionally protected--by nothing--except other guns.

And if theres a disparity of firepower between a standing army on u.s. soil, and average citizen armament, then technically "guns are constitutionally protected" barely even applies.

yes I'm arguing for citizens owning grenades, rocket launchers, and (non-nuclear) missiles.

If you don't like it, fight me.

"I want my personally owned battleship dammit. "

I see no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to own one if you can afford it.

Well the founding fathers did. Also they thought about commissioning a puckle gun but another warship cost just as much.

The foundung fathers had actual canons, literal weapons of war.

Are we still going to pretend (((our representatives))) or our ((votes)) are going to prevent these kinds of things from happening?

Flooding them with comments worked to squash the pistol brace ban.

Here's the blurb about it I got from JSD along with the link. I just used their template but changed some wording and wrote a couple of extra sentences of my own interspersed in there.

You have to reference the document number. Also you have to write a calm/polite comment or they'll simply not count it, so calling them glowniggers won't work.

There are a couple of things that HAVE to be included with your comment. Also, a unique comment is far more valuable than a canned response. Below is an opener you can feel free to copy and paste. Please add in a unique comment before or after this copied response:

I believe that ATF 2021R-05 (federal register number 2021-10058) will create an undue cost burden to the average American citizen and restrain the manufacturing of firearms both privately and commercially. The rule change is not feasible nor is it practical. I oppose ATF 2021R-05.

Example info to add onto the above statement:

1) I am an American citizen that has been creating firearms for my own use for X number of years. I feel this is a burden that will restrain me from exercising my constitutional rights and will not stop nor reduce crime in any way.

2) I have been a member of the firearms industry for X number of years. This rule change will cripple my business with an undue burden of serializing each part that we manufacture or sell.

Please use these as an idea to create your own personalized comment. Be aware that the ATF 2021R-05 needs to be included in your comment.

Anyone have the link to the public comment form?

In addition to making potentially millions of people instant felons, it's also so broad, that anything from prop guns to the howitzer in front of the VFW will now legally be firearms.

The only thing that makes me feel better is that it is almost certainly so broad to the point of unconstitutionality.

Shall not be infringed. Fuck what they say or do.

Turn in your guns 1 bullet at a time.
