The Opposite of Fear.

I'm sure that you've heard it before: "The opposite of fear is love".

NO it isn't, because the opposite of love is hate. The opposite of fear is fearless, or a lacking of care -- INDIFFERENCE. Fear is synonymous with care as indifference is synonymous with 'don't care'.

Don't fall for the trap.

Also people regularly mistake braveness with lack of fear. Braveness is when you really fear something but still overcome it.

You could say that bravery is the opposite of cowardice.
