You've given me a lot to research. Thanks!

Do an online search for other charts on early Hebrew. There's also a stone in New Mexico that has the Ten Commandments written in Hebrew. I'm not remembering off hand which style of alphabet.

Beit or Bet is the letter for "house". Fun fact, every letter in the Hebrew alphabet is also a word. The Hebrew written language is three layers deep. Meaning, each letter of a word is also a word. You can test this with Google translate. Take any word and start subtracting letters and you still get a word, right down to just one letter which is also a word. This is how some misconceptions or misunderstandings of the Bible have their roots and have led to false doctrines such as The Rapture. The words in Hebrew for salt and taken are only one letter difference.

So, using the word that Jesus used to assert that Lot's wife was 'taken' when she turned back to Sodom change one letter on the biblical narrative that she was turned to salt when she 'looked' back and you can see how easily this got messed up and turned into a miracle of some sort.

She didn't look back, she turned back or went back. She didn't turn to salt but instead was taken.

The four letter name of God Yod Hey Vav Hey would be in our language, Behold the hand, behold the nail. You can research this yourself. It's fun.

The name Bethleham is actually Beit Le Ham or House of Bread.

Jesus said, "I am the Bread of life"

So much in scripture has a much deeper meaning in Hebrew. Even the sentence structure.

Go right back to the beginning when God declared that Adam and Eve would die on the day they ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Hebrew phrasing means something quite different.

It says on the day they ate of that tree dying they would surely die.

Dying, meaning that it would be a process that would end in sure death. So in Hebrew it's stated with the words 'dying' and 'die'.

If only Christian churches would actually teach Hebrew in the schools, Hebrew alphabets and the actual culture of each period so many controversies and false doctrines would be laid to rest.

Aleph Bet is where we get the word Alphabet. First two letters.
