For those who don't know...
The quote at the top- "Die Saar kehrt heim!" - means "The Saar returns home!"
It's in reference to a valuable industrial region of West Germany, known as Saarland, that was taken from Germany by The League of Nations and occupied by the French after WW1. Following Hitler's ascent to power, this region was returned to Germany in 1935.
That's what these stamps are about. Germany getting their coal mines back after 15 years of international theft.
