The burial mounds in N America. Natives said they where there before them, but now claim them as an indian cemetary, so now we cant do an archeological dig. Back in the 1800 and earley 1900 we found the giants remains. Google around youll even find pics.

Yep. Happened at least a half dozen times. Newspaper articles of them coming out. They then disappear and deny it ever happened.
