I stream in a lot of data. Enough that a RPi was no longer enough to handle the load. It's part of why it's a VM. Yeah, that is probably a uncommon configuration but I want to do what I want to do.
That’s a lot of data for a HA system.
I have a very large amount of custom ingest and mods.
I am not a "typical user" to say the least.
Maybe one day I will be willing to document and post it online. For now, I think it would probably dox me instantly and I am not up for that.
You have seen my other posts about me wanting to upgrade my home systems. HASS is not the reason but I have plenty that would work a lot better with a hardware refresh.
I've turned down a lot of the incoming data to my system. RSS and podcasts are really about the only thing that happens these days, I simply don't find much else I want to acquire.
