Who is your narcissist? What have they done?

I haven't had any problem with narcissists but I've had enough of a brush with fake victimhood fed to a CYA legal system to be scared of that.

Being public facing

Yes that's wise. My personal main focus is promoting FOSS social media, as my list of contact methods hinted at. I think if people are pulled away from platforms with toxic astroturfing/burying they will naturally correct their thoughts. I haven't had much luck persuading people though, and I find doing code work on it rather boring.

I can tell you how to get information

I have been trying to find out what plans mega-corps like Google and IBM have for linux in the light of e.g. working on Fuchsia or acquiring Red Hat. I've started by reading their Annual Report/K-10s from the last year but they don't go in to too much detail. A lot of info is probably inferable by writing down the names involved and seeing the places they worked in the past on linkedin, press releases, etc.; I wish I had some kind of notetaking software/system to assist with that.

Open source solutions are stifled and sabotaged, but they are, ultimately, the solution.

Mostly, they've already done what they want by backdooring almost every distro.

What they are aiming for is total cloud computing.

This means that your devices will merely be portals to a virtual device. You can type on it and see it, but the screen you are looking at is being hosted on "the cloud."

The problem is that this is asinine. They will slowly bring everyone there to reach at the same time. Mainly, because if Windows sucks and forces you to cloud connect and not control any of your digital life, no one will use it. They have to make all of them suck at roughly the same time.

This is why open source, modular devices are a great pre-emptive strike.

However, expect to see everything go to cloud services where you need to pay a monthly fee to do normal stuff that you can currently do for free.
