What they are aiming for is total cloud computing. This means that your devices will merely be portals to a virtual device. You can type on it and see it, but the screen you are looking at is being hosted on "the cloud." The problem is that this is asinine. They will slowly bring everyone there to reach at the same time. Mainly, because if Windows sucks and forces you to cloud connect and not control any of your digital life, no one will use it. They have to make all of them suck at roughly the same time. This is why open source, modular devices are a great pre-emptive strike. However, expect to see everything go to cloud services where you need to pay a monthly fee to do normal stuff that you can currently do for free.
