i thought "great white north" meant snow, but it actually means that 99% of the population is white, and it shows.

Should be both.

it is, i just never really thought about the phrase before, anytime i heard it it was in one ear out the other since i thought i would never be relevant to me

That's good, also the nickname "Great White North" is usually associated with Canada and not the yankee states.

thats probably why i've subconsciously pushed it back. i didnt think nebraska was that far north.
