And systemd is still shit and a pain in the ass to navigate. I had hoped that it would get better with incremental improvements, but it just got worse over time. The thing is that every program still has it's own startup script in addition to a pile of complex systemd shit... what has been gained?
People say that it allows dependency driven startup and shutdown of programs, but It doesn't take the enormous infrastructure that is systemd to do that. What a fucking joke.

I have read so many systemd man pages and never accomplish what I set out to do and then give up dissatisfied.
