Everyone keeps repeating that getting vaxed will absolutely lower your risk of dying and minimize symptoms. How has this been proven? What fucking study are they basing this on? There is no way that I am aware of to prove someone would have died if not vaxed. Many people were already getting covid and weren't dying from it. This could only be proven if covid had a 100% mortality rate.

Just like the lockdowns, "imagine what it would be like if we didn't go full lockdown!"... How can you tell? "Well it's obvious!" Is it?

...

I call that the counter-giraffe-piss-bucket effect

Every morning I piss in a bucket that I put on my balcony. I have lots of buckets full of piss on my balcony. People keep asking me why I keep doing that. I reply that giraffes are dangerous wild animals, and that someone has to prevent them from invading us or the entire neighborhood will be turned into a giant steaming pile of shit in no time. Again, the dangerous nature of giraffes is vastly underestimated. Then they ask me how the fuck has any of this anything to do with the collection of piss buckets on my balcony. Then I calmly ask; have you seen any giraffe in the neighborhood? No? Then it's proof it's working you fucking moron.

Don't listen to those alt-right conspiracy nuts! You're the only thing keeping the neighborhood safe!

There's no real in-depth studies for any of this.

The vast majority of ppl only learn that they had covid was because a test told them so

It hasn't been tested, but they sure as fuck love repeating it. 99.7% survival rate without the vaccine, after all.

If one is less symptomatic, wouldn't that make you more dangerous as you might have mild symptoms and then do your normal activities. If you feel like shit, you're far more likely to say "Fuck this" and stay at home recovering.
