Yeah. It reminded me of the "Art Work" money laundering scam as I wrote it out.

It appears that the twitch cut may only be 2.6%. Then his buddy would have to take out taxes for receiving to his business. On the back end maybe hire the guy back round as a "consultant" and pay him back after the divorce... so as a business expense he wouldn't have to pay business taxes on that revenue. Consultant taxes takes out what...30%? Probably not even that much since he is a low wage army guy. Total losses 32.6% or lower depending on his wage bracket.

The only kink in the works is that the IRS would be crawling up the friend's ass if it was a significant chunk of money (e.g., >$10k). So you might end up paying 35%+ taxes extra on that in order to get it away from the wife.
