Of course it doesn’t say it outright. You don’t feel like the purpose of this post was to confuse people into thinking that r/news was suppressing that smollett was found guilty? Because that was certainly the impression I got until I looked for myself.

Deleting or locking related posts to keep control of what is being said on the one at the top of the sub.
Yes, and I said I agreed that’s what they were doing. But there’s nothing about this post to indicate that that’s what he was trying to say.
At face value, this looks like no one on r/news would be able to see that he was found guilty. Again, this post violated their sub rules. I know why their rules exist, but it should have been deleted even if they weren’t propagandists.

The only thing I see is that a post related to JS has been deleted because they don't want to have to deal with multiple ones.
It's harder to censor and more work for the soymods.
