Not quite because calorie count would result in weight loss...

1 lb of steak does not have the same calories as 1 lb of veggies

I don’t remember talking about weight.

I can't help you then. If you can't tell an arbitrary number from one that matters I can't help you.

In order to find how many calories a food has it has to be burned with a flame (bomb calorimeter). Human bodies don't burn food with a flame. So tell me how do we calculate the amount of calories a body burns? Oh that's right a magic machine that can detect calories from your breath. Gimmie a fucking break. Again if you can't see the discrepancies yourself I can't help you.

Pick and choose which jewish science is good and which is bad. These are the jewish games you guys choose to play.

I've supported my side of the argument. You guys have done nothing to support your own argument except asking me to further explain my side in an attempt to trip me up. Good luck...

I don't need help, you're the one bringing up food comparison based on weight, which is inaccurate and .

1lb of steak obviously doesn't have the same calories amount as 1lb of veggies.

I've supported my side of the argument

You did not, but it's ok, believe what you want.

You guys have done nothing to support your own argument except asking me to further explain my side in an attempt to trip me up.

I'm not trying to trip you, I'm just telling you that your statement saying calories don't have anything to do with diet in incorrect. You didn't explain why you believe this.

So try to eat 10 000 calories of food everyday and stay fit.

Take Michael Phelps for example. He need to eat 16 000 calories of food to keep up with his highly active lifestyle (swimming) or he would be in calorie deficit and lose weight. If he stopped swimming and kept that diet, he would inevitably end up like Chris Christie.

There's an explanation for that, it's called CICO (Calorie In Calorie Out).

You don't have to be passive-aggressive when debating a topic, especially when you are wrong/mislead and confused.

I'm not your enemy.

I know you're not my enemy, but you are still missing the point. The calculation between CI is different from the calculation of CO. Calories cannot be used as a standard unit of human energy output because every human has not only different values for the same variables, but also completely different variables per human. Like Michael Phelps as you mentioned. His caloric needs can't be compared to anyone else. And also like you mentioned the caloric output of every food is different.

By definition the number of calories you eat is arbitrary.
