I miss my first gen iPad. It is now mostly useless for the modern web and I just haven't replaced the charging cable. That thing was a slab of mystery material, considering the abuse it took. Poal was unwilling to work with it, but damned if it hadn't served me well for years.
I'm actually probably going to buy a new one. Technically, I bought myself a nice new one. I never got it out of the package. My daughter saw it on the counter and said, "Oh, I want one of those!" She kept it. She knows I don't mind.
What a damn shame.
You know I've noticed your increase in activity with other certain groups. I'm not going to accuse you of being part of those groups but I can't help but notice you coming back at roughly the same time. I really hate that I have to notice this. I don't want to be paranoid but it is kind of part of the job. I enjoy our talks tremendously but you left for quite a while and then came back at the same time as those groups. Please tell me that is a coincidence.
I can assure you that it's absolutely coincidental. I'm not sure I even know what groups you speak of, but I'm going to guess it's SBBH.
Whilst I do count (many of) them among the people I'm happy to see online, I can also assure you that I am not now, nor have I ever, been a part of anything conspiratorial with them. In fact, as near as I can tell, they never do anything cohesively or planned out. I have never been asked to help in any raid, vote manipulation, etc...
There's a chance that they don't ask me 'cause they know I'm lazy and apathetic, or there's a good chance that many of the allegations made about them are exaggerated or falsehoods fabricated from supposition.
I'm pretty sure my actions speak pretty clearly about my intent. If you want to judge me as a member of a collective, that's up to you - but I'd like to think you're above that.
If I'm going to do something malicious, you'll know. 'Snot like I'm the kinda person to go sneaking around.
