I have noticed that surprisingly many presumably legitimate subverses on GVoat are disabled, including:

There were plenty more (post some in the comments if you know some more).

I have the suspicion that Voat auto-disables subverses that were inactive for a specific amount of time.
I don't know the exact conditions (how inactive posts and/or comments have to be), but there seems to be auto-subverse-deactivation going on.

Can anyone confirm?

it is Not automatic. Even I havent posted to v/Catpeoplehate in years yet its still up. I honestly dont know why it survived the Use It Or Lose It purge of inacvctive subs. About half of mine got killed and the other half didn't. tbh, there seemed little logic in which got whacked. No one had posted to any of them in ages.
