Personally I have no idea if anyone banned was manipulating voat the way Putt said they were. I did find a peculiar statement by Putt that hinted goats could get banned for having a multi-day argument. When I asked for clarification I got nothing. Makes me think whoever the angel investor is didn't like that level of discord on his newly purchased site.

New investor comes in a few months back. Soon afterwards a big ban on a bunch of goats. A few months later a big ban on a bunch of goats. Again I have no idea if you all deserved it or not but it does seem a tad suspicious.

Dunno about the investor stuff. I had some vague impression it involved Bitchute - and that may be wrong. Not sure why they'd be looking to ban me.

Speaking personally I didn't deserve it. But 'deserve' or not it was a stupid move. I'm one of the top submitters there and have a number of friends who will basically go where I go. Plus I have too much time on my hands. If I want to I can spend all day recruiting from there to here.

How would Bitchute figure in?

Some kind of privileged access to their videos linking from Voat. Right around the time the investor thing came down someone running the Bitchute bot or whatever was notifying people that they were adding a special Voat button to the videos at the Bitchute site.

But again, it's all vague and my impression of what I saw may even not be investor related. But it seemed like it was.

I got into it with some qtards this week. Then I got a warning. I took it as a message to back off. That’s all I’ve really done on Voat in the last few months.

Imagine voat going down the tubes based on qtards? I have to laugh. Q is the biggest larp ever but let's assume for the sake of argument it's real. What effect does it have other than to create qtards that think the plans of the real power in the world are periodically revealed on the Internet by an "insider" and TheDonald is fighting the good fight against their wicked ways. Not that I am aware of. What drew me here was the image of Mainstream tech replacements showing poal.co as an alternative to Reddit, which was posted both on gab & voat.

The reason I am here is I dropped reddit a long time ago for the censorship. voat showed promise initially. But a vocal percentage of people ran around voat constantly trying to scare off anyone new that did not 100% subscribe to their own personal ideology. All of the non-poltical subs withered away as there wasn't a sufficient critical mass to keep conversations going or post new content.

The only recent bright spots of light are the recent niche interests of guitar, preppers, JustGrowIt & Tradwives.

Everything else just devolved into nonstop political bitching. Sometimes you just have to take a break from that and read/do something interesting.

Just PLEASE don't invite them here. That's where voat went wrong. They welcomed anyone banned from other platforms honestly believing there was some good. Instead it caused the place to spiral. If a user is banned from voat, they HAVE to be pretty awful. Why would we want that to migrate over here?
