mine was a 78 nova. not a full-frame car, but still plenty of steel.
i think my front bumper took 3 hits and only suffered scratches. bump a car nowadays, and both will be in the shop for weeks.

Haha if not totaled! My sister had a 60 something dodge dart. She hit a guy going about 50 and put a small dent in the hood. I tried to bang it out for her, with a sledge hammer, and couldn't. THOSE were cars man!

yeah, i didn't check my blind spot once getting on the highway. hooked a minivan with my bumper. damn near ripped the bumper off this minivan that was going 20+mph more than me.
didn't even make a mark on my Nova.
i miss that car.
