Was making breakfast this AM, as Mrs. Duck was messing with a bothersome houseplant. The following exchange was had:

Mrs: I don't like this plant any more. Me: Um (mumbled acknowledgement). Mrs: Every time I read up on it I get different info - loves water/needs to dry out. Loves sun, avoid prolonged sun exposure. I've tried everything, and it just seems really leggy and barely hangs in there. Me: What kind of plant is it? Mrs. A wandering jew. Me: (Chuckling) Oy vey! Mrs: (Stern, puzzled look) It's just too needy - it can enjoy the rest of it days in the compost heap (exits carrying plant). Me: Uncontrollable laughter!

Beautiful plants if left in the oven. I've grown 6 million of them.
