For both films, the good news is that normies want white male leads in action movies, contrast these with the long list of diverse/fem flops.
This would only be good news if you think Hollywood is motivated by $$$. They have shown us time and time again that they are willing to loose massive sums of $$$ in order to push the narrative. Hollywood is a tool of population control. It is a cost center not a revenue center. Any profits are just the bonus. Think about it... they took the MCU, the biggest movie cash cow of all time, and destroyed it. The last film grossed obscene sums of cash. Any rational capitalist would say "Don't change a fucking thing. just keep doing that until it stops making money." So is this what they did? No they decided that now that they have a huge and loyal fan base that they would start start making movies with every SJW troupe imaginable. Militant feminist super heroes, Fat super heroes, Gay super heroes, Muslim super heroes... they already have enough data to know that this is not how you make money. All of the recent woke films have done poorly if not outright flopped. This is not about profits... Hollywood is all about control.
Yes. I default to 'money = power', thinking to a fault. Someone, i think on voat, pointed out that Joker has plenty 'narrative' built in as well, same message just with a different approach.
'Money = Power' is very real... have no doubt. The confusion is that this is not about them trying to gain money and power... Hollywood is about SPENDING money and EXERCISING power. If Money = Power, then it follows that money must be spent to use the power that you gain from the money. If you want to actually use your power you must be willing to waste money and to spend frivolously.
