Certainly not their best effort. The writing is poor, and the movie struggles as a result.

They don't know how to write a story, with a beginning, a middle, and an ending. It's all unlikeable characters bitching at each other between shootouts and car chases. As a result, you never care what happens to any of the characters. They are not likeable. They are just like the Hollywood people who write them, nasty unpleasant, shallow people you would never want to know.
I decided to watch a review because I had no idea it was even out. The best line of the video was:
"I don't even like Rwby but the fight scenes in rwby are better than wonder woman 1984"

You know it is funny I kept seeing that movie on my NZB site and thought it was a movie from 1984. It just clicked - duh!
