Back in the days when IMDb forums were up, I have noticed that horror movies fans community had above average IQ if compared to other mainstream forums. I wonder why. Was unable to find any research related to this phenomenon.

What makes you think people who watch Sci-Fi & Supernatural movies don't watch other genres?

With that logic, you shouldn't be sleeping then. What a waste of time dreaming about having supernatural abilities when you could stay awake and be reading meaningful books.

Some supernatural movies were fun, because they had psychological fear. Like A Nightmare on Elm Street, or Candyman. They were good material for fucking with my friends when stoned. I am talking about real supernatural bullshit with no meaningful purpose at all.
