If you don't like a particular addition to the canon, just air your grievances and move on, or just stop watching new Star Wars media! These Star Wars "fans" that have been bitching and moaning since The Phantom Menace need to get a life.

Star Wars has always sucked. It's a Western in space. Star Trek at least tried to get some of the science right, or to make it plausible. The Star Trek communicator became out cell phones. What original concept has Star Wars ever predicted that came to be?

Star Wars was never meant to be hard scifi. It's a space opera, fantasy scifi.
