My impressions of the trailer: - Look is not as otherworldly as David Lynch's Dune. - Dude is too emo. - The pain box is wrong -- you can still see most of the guy's hand, so you know nothing is happening to it. - Music is boring -- not really bad, just uninteresting. - Looks like they copied the desert suits from Lynch's Dune. It will probably be disappointing, like most remakes of great movies. But we can hope that the plot will be a little more coherent than the Lynch movie, which really fell apart in the last twenty minutes or so. The CGI is good, as is to be expected considering how much more advanced it is today. The worms look too big.
