The picture bothered me, and not merely because of the new pigmented version. Couldn't get a handle on it until a comment on a recent video from the Lotus Eaters clued me in.

She has dreadlocks.

Dreadlocks. Under the ocean.

Just picture what would happen if you wore long neat dreadlocks and swam around with them. They wouldn't be black. They would be green. And slimy. And uncleanable without detergent.

I guess it's magic.

Water doesn't turn hair green. Swimming pools with incompetent pool care turn hair green. It's caused by copper. People add copper to their pools trying to get rid of algae they caused by using chlorine tablets/pucks.

I'm not talking about the hair turning green. I'm talking about it collecting algae.
