From /all yesterday, I did click on the thumbnail and on the "Album" word and neither would open expando to show the images.
For single image posts, clicking the thumbnail/"Image" word from /all will open expando and show the image; it will not do this for an image album for me.
Clicking the post link just entered into the post instead of going to an album of the images. I was used to album links going to a pic8 album. I didn't realize this is a poal album, so it would seem the post does not link to a different album page now to view the images and they are embed within the post.
After your response, the thumbnail and "Album" word still does not open the expando to load the images while within the post. I've now tried the "Landscape" image icon that is shown within the post and that does load the two images from the album.
Clicking the thumbnail does nothing for me though. It would seem it is just a problem for me, though, so please ignore me.
I'll just remember that I need to enter into image album posts in the future and then click the 'landscape' icon to load the album images instead of clicking the thumbnail to view the images from /all like I can on image posts.

The reason why I wrote and switched to "Poal image and album upload" is because pic8 has been broken for quite some time (randomly crashing and dead/unresponsive hosts), and Picman has gone MIA for months.
I've tried to contact him in the chat, but he doesn't answer.
I think something happened to him, because yesterday someone deleted his Poal account without a word.
I can only hope he's ok.
I'll post an announcement when I'm done testing/working on the album upload feature.

Clicking the thumbnail from /all didn't load the album in expando for me and there was no expando image icon on the album post, just a 'show link-post content' despite being an album of images:
Clicking that only loaded the text that was written in the post body into an expando:
So from /all, I could not view the album of images as clicking the thumbnail did nothing and the expando icon only showed the post content and not the images. I had to enter into the post and then click the 'Open poal album in expando' button on the post that I completely forgot existed in the icons on posts as I always just clicked the thumbnail to load the expando.
It seems to be just an issue for me, though. Don't concern yourself with my trouble, I'll try to find the cause for it being an issue for me (browser version, cache, etc.).
Wow. I have been trying to follow the issues I've seen posted about pic8 and your efforts toward poal image uploading and displaying to step away from pic8. Your efforts on that are very appreciated!
I didn't realize there was such a situation with Picman, and also did not see the sudden deletion. That is a very bad development and makes me sad and very concerned. I hope he is ok as well, or that he will soon be able to become ok depending on whether it is physical, mental or situational difficulties he seems to be having.

Yes, at this moment to open the expando for images and album you can only use the thumbnail for front page posts (post list) and the landscape icon (that only shows inside an image post).
I'll change the thumbnails behavior site wide later.
I don't know why the album thumbnails (on the front page) don't open their album expando, it works fine in all the browser's I tried.
Try to browse /all/new in a private tab (unlogged) and find an album thumbnail. Try to click on it, and if it still doesn't work, check the console of your browser for errors and let me know about it.
