Nope, that's been completely disproven. I can download pretty much any movie I want in top quality without paying a cent. According to your theory the movie industry should be dead, in fact it should have died decades ago. Instead people are still paying for movies and the industry is doing just fine, expanding in fact.
In addition people have shown they're perfectly willing to fund projects through things like patreon and kickstarter, even when they don't receive any physical media in return and even (in some cases) to help develop a product which might never exist.
The main purpose copyright currently serves is to suppress competition. Media megacorps have given up suing individual torrenters, the only people they bother suing anymore is anyone producing derivative works or original creative work they consider "too similar." Copyright allows them to stake out a huge field of creative ideas and declare a monopoly. Eventually it'll get to the point where any story you can possibly tell will have a jew sitting on it saying "I own this."
Pornography was about to implode on itself because the courts are practically not enforcing copyright for it and the production is saturated, and every revenue scheme for it fails. Economically ignorant prohibitions on media is how you end up keeping an about to implode media industry surviving.

The current value proposition of porn stars isn't taking their clothes off, it's pretending to be in a relationship with their johns and making them feel valued, hence the rise of things like onlyfans. Some of them don't even produce anything recognisable as porn.
If you really want to kill pornography you make it very slightly illegal everywhere so that it doesn't get copyright protection, then you don't enforce that law, and all revenue efforts fail after a few years. No more production. Eventually the majority of already made content becomes memory holed in 10 years.

It's more because the people paying for it feel they have a personal connection to the producer, so they don't want to screw them over by leaking the pay-for content. Once a channel gets big enough though eventually someone will. For example, Belle Delphine's stuff was leaked and it turned out to be mostly bikini shots.

It's simple at the end of the day, if you take away the profit motive, the only thing you'll have are people doing it for fetish reasons.
If onlyfans content was easily available on streaming sites due to lack of copyright strike enforcement, I guarantee the women would not make nearly as much as is required to make good income or even enough to get nude in public.
