I'm not into organized religion, to be clear and I'm not encouraging you to rush into some random building and ask for membership essentially.

John, wasn't baptized for instance, and john isn't "anybody" in the bible, to say the least... Does the fact that john wasn't baptized, renders him of a lesser faith? Of course not. He certainly had a much stronger faith than the vast majority of christians today, combined

You have 3 principles, in the christian bible; god, jesus, and the holy spirit

The holy spirit, what's that?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Spirit_in_Christianity

For the majority of Christian denominations, the Holy Spirit, or Holy Ghost, is believed to be the third person of the Trinity,[2] a Triune God manifested as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each entity itself being God.[3][4][5] Nontrinitarian Christians, who reject the doctrine of the Trinity, differ significantly from mainstream Christianity in their beliefs about the Holy Spirit. In Christian theology, pneumatology refers to the study of the Holy Spirit. Due to Christianity's historical relationship with Judaism, theologians often identify the Holy Spirit with the concept of the Ruach Hakodesh in Jewish scripture, on the theory that Jesus (who was Jewish) was expanding upon these Jewish concepts. Similar names, and ideas, include the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God), Ruach YHWH (Spirit of Yahweh), and the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit).[6][7] In the New Testament it is identified with the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Truth, the Paraclete and the Holy Spirit.[8][9][10]

The New Testament details a close relationship between the Holy Spirit and Jesus during his earthly life and ministry.[11] The Gospels of Matthew and Luke and the Nicene Creed state that Jesus was "conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary".[12] The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove during his baptism, and in his Farewell Discourse after the Last Supper Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to his disciples after his departure.[13][14]

The Holy Spirit is referred to as "the Lord, the Giver of Life" in the Nicene Creed, which summarises several key beliefs held by many Christian denominations. The participation of the Holy Spirit in the tripartite nature of conversion is apparent in Jesus' final post-resurrection instruction to his disciples at the end of the Gospel of Matthew (28:19), "Make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."[15] Since the first century, Christians have also called upon God with the trinitarian formula "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" in prayer, absolution and benediction.[16][17] In the book of the Acts of the Apostles the arrival of the Holy Spirit happens fifty days after the resurrection of the Christ, and is celebrated in Christendom with the feast of Pentecost.[18]

Paraclete (Greek: παράκλητος, Latin: paracletus) means advocate or helper. In Christianity, the term "paraclete" most commonly refers to the Holy Spirit

In Judaism, the Holy Spirit (Hebrew: רוח הקודש‎, ruach ha-kodesh) refers to the divine force, quality, and influence of God over the universe or over God's creatures, in given contexts.[1][need quotation to verify][2][need quotation to verify]

Some idea of the Safed environment can be gained from Rabbi Chaim’s statement in his Gates of Holiness (Sha’arei Kedusha) that the holy spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) can be attained even in our own times and that such people in fact exist in our midst.

...

Essentially, it's "the force", like in star wars if you will

And its name, implies a will within

...

Again it sounds like batshit crazy talk, I have no "proof" to support any claim here, I'm just contemplating the proposition, and I can't say "it's all horse shit!" because what do I know?

What I do know, is that you don't spend thousands of years studying, protecting and copying those books, manually, with all the constraints in term of time spent and means to do it, just because it's a nice fairy tale

It's because it's important, vital

Now as I said, there's the organized religion, and there are the men, and there's the faith, the believer

Your religion is something between you and 'god' first and foremost, even more so when it comes to christianity, despite what the next guy says
