General Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas morning slaughtering the British in their beds.
Honor is seized through victory not bestowed upon you.
I don't disagree with that if the cause is important enough, I think one has to treat one's enemies like shit sometimes if they are evil and destroy the world.
But I don't see the similarity with the Rittenhouse situation. He says he support BLM. I think he means what he says. I do not think that he has the annihilation of the left as his goal. That's gut feeling.
The problem is that I can only know what I see, the rest is theoretical. I judge him by what he factually does, and not by what he may or may not be doing in a theorerical future.
I look at the basic reality that he is going to be inside court rooms a lot over the next few years and a good character alibi with quotes of him endorsing his attackers will go a long way swaying any jury pool to his side.
I personally don't agree with the tactic but it is a not a stupid move and it is not an accident.
I see your point. But why make a public stunt out of meeting Trump recently, wouldn't that go against that strategy? (or is that irrelevant?)
