I have no problem with parents being held responsible for the crimes of their children, as long as it applies to BLACKS also. If Blacks parents were put in jail for the crimes of their punk kids, crime would fall by 90%.

Parents need to lawyer up and claim that the guns were stolen before they had a chance to report it stolen. Kid is going to jail anyway, add theft charge and save your own ass.

Depending on evidence, a theft charge might not be sufficient.

I haven't heard much about this incident or than the fact that the gun was bought 4 days prior to the shootings and the students at the school were afraid, to the point that some students did not attend school that day.

Supposedly one of the parents texted the kid telling him not to do it.

If the parents knew their child was disturbed before the gun was introduced, then they should be held accountable for not adequately safe guarding the weapon.

Probably along the lines of letting the kid have access to the pistol knowing he had emotional and mental issues. And they supported Trump.

Basically there’s evidence that the father purchased the gun as a straw purchase for his son, and there were notes of the kid’s found basically implying he wanted to hurt people with his gun, and they had a meeting with the parents requiring them to get him counseling. Then they left him at school without checking for or asking about the gun and the shooting happened

Is it illegal to buy your kid a gun? I guess you have to be 18 to buy one, but I wasn't aware that in most states you had to be 18 to own one; and if you can't buy one but can own one how else are they expected to get it?
