My state has religious or "strongly held belief" provisions in the state constitution, so it depends where you live.
This is federal and Biden didn’t add it or made it extremely hard to qualify. It doesn’t matter the state this is federal and why states are suing trying to regain control over the federal worker mandate and health care mandate, then they can issue religious exemptions at will.
The point is that if you have a state which allows exemptions and half of the employees are officially exempt, then 100% of your employees are covered.
I don’t think that’s how it’s working and why states have sued over the federal workers/contractors/sub contractors who aren’t being given that option even with their states having an exemption.
The US has an exemption and they’re not following that one either.
