Almost all jobs have some utility. This dividing them into essential and non-essential is stupid. It's one thing, if you're going to lock down for 24 hours and just say only the emergency responders come out. After 2 weeks, or 2 years, if you tell people not to come to work you're going to have problems; almost no matter what they do.
Communism thrives on class worship. This is just another ploy to have a "free" underclass and then creating permits for moving up in the world. Everything else is a subscription, so why would this be any different?
All jobs are essential. The guy who operates his flower shop uses it to feed his family. But it's not essential to the elite. That's what they mean by "essential". If it's not essential to them it's not essential. This is hubris.
