Sorry for the confusion. The dichotomy I presented wasn't "either rich or a leech," it was "either competent or a leech." I assumed the bastard had millions in the bank whether he was competent or a leech, which was a mistake on my part. I projected my own frugality onto him and forgot most people like big houses and fast cars. You are correct that I'm not very talented at anything and don't contribute much to society nor to my company. I'm also not paid an executive salary and I'm not on welfare. Overall I consider myself to be neutral or perhaps a slight net asset to others. I make sure to at least pull my own weight.
