8 dollar pack of 12 medium eggs in bumfuck Utah I just saw. But I can still get ice for under 2 bucks so that's something.
In Arkansas the news said it will be $15 a dozen very soon. I have a farm. I give everyone eggs for free where I live. I get a dozen + a day.
Imagine $15 eggs. Because of some supposed avian flu. Pinch me this doesn't even seem real anymore.
Giving away your extra eggs is a fantastic thing. Thank you. Imagine all that goodwill and good nutrition you are providing in your community. And people will save their egg cartons for you.
All this talk of expensive eggs made me check at Costco yesterday. Price of two dozen organic brown eggs in 2021: $6.99; price yesterday: $7.59.
It's almost cheaper to go to a farm stand now and get eggs. See if I can find some out in Utah while I'm still here.
What the hell??? I’m laying $5 per dozen for the best ones and that’s been fairly constant
I paid $4.60 for 18egg at a Walmart about 5 days ago. The store I was at today was a small city store in backwater Utah so that could be one of the reasons why they were so expensive.
