The police were worse than useless. They were unwilling to risk their lives to stop a man murdering children but they couldn't let parents show them up either. In the end it was an off duty border patrol agent who did what was necessary. Abolish the police, these days they only serve to protect criminals from what good people would do to them.

In that case, they were willingly assisting the shooter and everyone of them should be charged with accessory.

I know it will never happen... the gov doesn't charge itself.
