Stop right there, they have exactly zero point

Animals, are hunter gatherers, period

Take the squirrel take the wolves

Now you're telling me, the animal "kingdom", is depleting the planet? You're telling me that natural cycles are bad to manage the environment?

Since when?

Never, they form the most virtuous cycle known to man, when it comes to "sustainability"

....

Hunter gatherers didn't build hostpitals and universities and shit

They ride horses, at best, and live in tents or mud huts, at best

Of course they deplete at one area, but then they move on, and the vegetables and animals in the area grow/come back.

I mean if hunter gatherers were ever a problem for the environment.. Then the whole animal kingdom is one too

Which is evidently a completely bankrupt concept

This piece in the OP is only there to promote "unabatted liberalism, trust the plan, plunder the planet all you want, all hail capitalism free market and shit, we got everything right let's continue"

Squirrels and wolves did not develop tools which made them far outclass every other animal on the planet in efficiency.

Plants don't grow back if you harvest all their fruit. Animals down repopulate if the're completely wiped out, which H-G groups did.

You can't always just move on as populations grows and you get locked between other groups who want to protect their resources, which can put a further strain on an area.

We are talking about "hunter gatherers", this https://duckduckgo.com/?q=hunter+gatherers&atb=v191-3__&iax=images&ia=images

https://www.ancient-origins.net/sites/default/files/field/image/Dark-Skin-and-Blue-Eyes.jpg

Now don't bring their tools on the table as if this made any fundamental difference in terms of pollution, ecause it's just total none sense for OBVIOUS reasons

We're talking about spears and rocks here, not fucking space rockets

...

>Plants don't grow back if you harvest all their fruit. Animals down repopulate if the're completely wiped out, which H-G groups did.

Tell me again how birds and bees aren't a factor here you have totally overlooked

Tell me again how hunter gatherers are going to overpopulate any given area without hospitals, schools and shit

They won't, because they die a lot

So their numbers are never going to o over the top as we can see in africa with white man intervention, period

So again, pretending industry preserved the environment against hunter gatherers is a joke, a total joke, an literal intellectual fraud

Your completely ignoring the point of the article which is about ecology, it has nothing to do with pollution levels. Your points don't disprove what the article is proposing.

Hunter gatherer tools are extremely efficient. Spears, bows, fire, fishing nets, and dogs alone put them on a level above anything else on the planet.

They did kill off some of the most prominent species on the planet, and there is no evidence to point to that they would stop moving from one to the other without a move towards agrarianism.

Their populations did grow. Enough to where they spread across almost the entirety of the planet. One of the points touched on in the article is the rates of infanticide and induced abortion in ancient H-G society to try and slow population growth.

Birds can't spread seeds if all the fruit or vegetation has been been picked clean by a group that cares only about feeding itself right now because it has no backup.

People purposefully harvesting seeds and planting them in the same area while also raising animals take a lot of strain ecological off the environment.
