I'm not quite as eager for the iron fist of fascism to crush us all into one pulpy homogeneous mass as you seem to be.
I'm not eager for it at all.
But imagine if you will:
None of us here is important individually. The federal government and its contractors don't listen to any of us, individually.
But what they do is they collate big volumes of "extremist content", to pour through and get an idea of "emerging problems" and summarize the sentiments and thoughts of various sites and communities.
So lets say out of all that datascraped, 1 in 100 posts make it into that volume.
And out of those, maybe 1 in 100 gets forwarded into a smaller "emerging concerns" volume.
And maybe once every 1-3 months, they gather together all these volumes, from each site, and each community they monitor, and they pick one out of every 100 comments to be included in another volume.
Then some analyst or small group of them summarizes, strategized, and considers the angles and what direction the information indicates the "extremists" are heading.
Now because most of these are cronies, or guys picked for their ability to obey rather than think, they are all midwits. And I'm a midwit, making midwit arguments. Midwit arguments convince midwits.
And therefore, every post I make, is like a lottery ticket: it has a chance of filtering up, where someone whos job it is to decide what direction things are going, will read it and think "this is a good idea" or "this is a bad idea", or "yeah I agree with that."
Then every post is a chance, a small chance, one in a million, but not impossible, to influence the thinking higher up. And because it costs nothing to do, each one of us has every reason to continue. Only fools think they are important, but also, the demoralized don't realize, they are fools to think they have no influence whatsoever. It's infinitesimal but its there.
I am not eager for fascism to crush us, as much shit as I talk. Rather, I believe in our nation and its principles, I just don't think it can be saved as a geopolitical and economic entity. And so the only option is to watch it crash, collapse, and burn. The faster that can happen, the better the outcome will be versus letting it get worse, because the longer it goes on the bigger the risk that the public simply rolls over and out of total demoralization, accepts naked communism. Better to collapse and burn, while anyone is left who hasnt been totally demoralized.
I don't think it can be saved, and if it were, the people who have done what they have done to countless innocents, would probably get away as compromise to save it. And I, in whatever meagre contribution I can make to assure it, simply can't allow them to walk away from what they have done to millions of us.

I know what you're saying here, but I like to maintain some level of hope. The thing is, we went downhill very quickly, and there's no tangible reason why we can't come uphill just as fast, under the right conditions. It may well be that we are looking at a dictator in our near future, but if we are, it isn't a situation I am going to be happy about, nor one I wish to see happen. My hope, insofar as I can still cling to it, is that sanity will return to the West, and the band of liberal fascists which has been feeding the populations of Western countries divisive propaganda and lies will be blown away like dry leaves in the wind.
If I were to allow my pessimism to ascend, I would have to say that the more likely scenario is despotism, the decline of the white race, the suppression of Christianity, and the slow dawning of a new Dark Age that may well last for centuries. But where is the happy-happy-joy-joy in that? If we don't work to improve the situation, it is more likely to get worse. My philosophy is that the glass is half full, nasty people are trying to steal its contents, but if I strive, there's at least a chance I can fill the glass to the brim.
Your hope is a shining light in a fading world Ardvarcus.
If only you are willing to descend with that light, into the abyss, and bring it to the people.
And when you ascend out of it, with so many in tow, there can be no doubt what you will find. You will bring up such wonders and treasures of the human spirit, all but forgotten in this decadent modern age.
The current regime can't manage the existing structure of the united states, and is therefore too incompetent to effectively manage totalitarianism.
The chaos that will bring will be the only opportunity we get to change things. That way and not some other way.
Without light and hope in that darkness, we stumble deeper into the pit.
The job for some of us is to dig it deeper and push on.
The job for others is to light the way so we do not fall into the snares of treachery, but emerge out the otherside renewed.
The question you have to ask yourself is, what your role will be, and if you are brave enough and worthy enough to fill it. The question you have to ask yourself is "If not me, who will step up?"
"If not now, when?"
