Gave it some some water and crushed up saltines, it does not seem interested in either.

I think it has a broken wing and it is quite frightened.

I think I'll give it until tomorrow, see if it ate any of the crackers or drank any water, and if it hasn't, I'll kill it quickly.

Thanks for caring enough to try saving it. I did a hummingbird rescue 15 years ago after inadvertently destroying their nest when I pruned the limbs on our tulip poplar. Saved one of two babies. It was Father's Day - made me feel bad.
