I can reply to comments, but to start a new comment in a post, when I click the "write a comment" button, I get a pop up asking me what app I want to use (maps etc) and no keyboard.

What was the culprit?

Apparently Samsungs internet browser. It had been bugging me for months to read their legal update, and I just ignored it. I went into the settings and where I needed to go there was only an option that said "stop using Samsung internet browser". So I closed it and installed Brave.

Fishy behavior though. I've never seen a browser asking to open a 3rd party app to validate a form.

Very. I'll do a bit of research, and if deleting that browser won't fuck anything up on my phone, it is gone. Otherwise, it will get exactly zero usage from now on.
