This one is weird, so i knew this one woman. By her words, she really liked me. But because the first date didn't go well, she needed to re evaluate her entire life. Now I don't mind that part, but it just seems psychotic to me? So because I only check off 98/100 of her boxes, she would rather be alone than to compromise? I remember when I was with my wife (2010 or so when we first started dating), dating was NOT this messed up, and women could understand at this point that there was always a level of compromise required to make a relationship work.

I've seen plenty of married couples that have ( what I would call) mental problems, and a dysfunctional relationship with their spouse.

I think your generalizations are... generalizations.
