I tried Xamarin, and holy fuck this pile of dumpster shit is so bad. There are sooo many bugs, framing issues, random times where the app will die, just nasty updates that break existing functionality. And now, as predicted Xamarin is getting shit canned for MAUI ... Can Microsoft just fucking stick to ONE fucking product and make it better, instead of having 5 shitty product lines (Silverlight, WPF, Xamarin, UWP, MAUI) that all suck dick?!

Didn’t know what Xamarin was when I opened the thread, but breathed a sigh of relief when I found out that you weren’t complaining about a new psych med.

Says to me their middle management is moribund and overpaid, and probably very tribal.

Their mid-level departments are either too numerous, poorly supervised, or poorly integrated, so you get these self-defeating efforts, killing products before they have time to mature.

If I ran corporate espionage, this is where I would hurt microsoft, because product is directly downstream of this segment.
