Do a good job, finish the work, and if you hate the company then find a new one, but don't quit half way through. Quitting projects is a great way to become a loser in life.
I know, this project is just frustrating me because its clear I was not the right person for this task. It's like asking the intern to do some complex TS project, feels weird to me
So ask questions, learn, and get qualified. Why are you seeing this as a hassle? It's a fucking opportunity. You must be a millennial.
