oh brother, do i have some stories to tell.. for starters, how does a hot water line going into the toilet sound? at some point, the list of problems begins to sound intentional to those of us with half a brain, but i have to remind myself that most people today just dont give a shit

What actually happens with hot water piped into the toilet. Does it just waste energy, or does the hot water damage the plastic and rubber?

in this case, no damage has seemingly been done. however, if you have a gas on demand tankless water heater, it is a waste of energy. still, how this happened and the fact that it happened astounded me.
