Believe it or not, there was once a sane period in this country when being a faggot was an automatic diqualifier for adopting kids. Because every-fucking-body *knew*, beyond a shadow of a doubt, exactly what they'd do to those kids and the very thought of allowing, enabling or condoning it was vilified as evil. Hell, just being an umarried man was an automatic disqualifier in itself because it was assumed that either, a) you were a faggot, or, b) if you were such an asshole no woman would have you, so why inflict you on kids?
