According to my idiot mom even though I make more money and have more experience than my brother, i am the stupidest most brainwashed person in the family. Ironically, I paid off my brother's debt and got him a job that placed him into a free tuition program and he got his PHD, and I get completely fucking ignored and treated like shit because clearly a pleb fuck like me could never have been able to help the chose intellectuals
Well, she’s right. You worked and gave it away to someone who didn’t work for it, even if a brother. What a schmuck.
If it makes you feel better more and more people every day see you as more educated and valuable than your brother.
I think it is tim pool who has a spiel about it. boomers saw that highly motivated people in their (and previous) generation(s) went to college for something they had a passion for. When they got out of school they excelled in their fields and so made a lot more money than trades (or whatever normal job). What made them good at their jobs was the passion, not the schooling, but boomers misattributed it and pushed school on their kids making it sound like the only way to get ahead. In reality starting a trade at 17, married by 19, master by 30 is a way better life than getting a phd by 35 and beginning your life at that point.
The worst part is my brother is seething mad I still make more money than he does even though he has a PHD. He mentally can not understand why someone with a decade of experience in the field is more valuable than a PHD holder. He may as well be a greenie at that point. As far as he's concerned, I should be happy to make 10$/hr without a degree and be constantly shat on by the chosen elites, whilst they take the credit for literally everything. This same ass fuck was also reknown for creating meetings at 6 PM knowing I wasnt around, or dicking around and insulting me to get ahead whilst being handed his entire career by the very person he shits on al day
Please, I beg you, never give those ingrates another dime. Even if they are starving.
As usual, Tim Poole is an idiot. It used to be an education meant you learned something. It generally prepared you to succeed in your field. Today, for the majority of degrees, it simply means you went into debt for a piece of paper.
Most people do not benefit from degrees. Back then people generally didn't get degrees unless they could benefit from it. As such, those with degrees were generally above average in intelligence. Those that could benefit, generally did. Those that couldn't, didn't. Today, the most useless get useless degrees. They basically go into debt for indoctrination.
You repeated everything i said... i guess we agree
