From the article:

"Somehow the cells know the body can reset itself, and they still know which genes should be on when they were young," Sinclair said. "We think we're tapping into an ancient regeneration system that some animals use -- when you cut the limb off a salamander, it regrows the limb. The tail of a fish will grow back; a finger of a mouse will grow back."

Note, the lead investigator is David Sinclair who is a jew. I will allow it.

Given the sugar conversation earlier, Dr. Sinclair keeps on making the following points in all of his intervies:

  • He advocates for a calorie restricted diet (fasting) because eating all the time is a signalling mechanism to the body that we are growing and it ramps up those growth processes. Fasting signals to the body that we should be conserving and it kicks in other processes that help us repair damaged components.

  • He advocates removing sugars and starches from the diet.

  • He also advocates removing / reducing consumption of protein as well. He is recommending a plant based diet (no starches) because proteins also induce signaling in receptors that tell our bodies that we are growing as per above.

Interesting to see the full spectrum of things to consider.

0 Jewish researcher at a Jewish run University that has huge profit patents and participations in the company selling these pills tells you these pills will reverse aging. Wow. What a surprise. Hey did you hear about that fountain of youth that guy was looking for in Florida for 300 years?

Well, this is false, as per article:

Takeaway: Over 6 months, a combination of 500mg NMN, 500mg TMG and 500mg resveratrol improved my biological age by 3.5 years. Read on to learn more!

Your skepticism is totally warranted still, but your own article states otherwise.

Actually if you continue to read the article you see that the subsequent measurement he used which indicated his biological age had changed was actually invalidated by another test he did. He was quite disappointed because that marker was the only marker that was in the positive direction. So read the whole article I did. I have no idea why he left that as the title except I guess he wanted people to read his article and saying it didn't work wouldn't have gotten anybody to read his article.

"BIOLOGICAL AGE: EPIGENETIC AGE This one was a real bummer. My follow-up test with Chronomics failed their quality control step, meaning the biological age result was not valid.

This was a crushing blow, as it was the chief data point, in my opinion.

However, I have re-tested it, but it was not in-line within the 6-month period self-experimentation period. "

David Sinclair tried to make fortune first selling resveratrol 10 years ago. Remember it was supposed to be the fountain of youth ingredient from red wine? That was his lab that announced that. Did anyone get younger that you know taking those pills?

Did anyone get any younger?

The mouse drank nmn in it's water 5 years ago. Has anyone seen anyone go from grey hair to non grey since?

Sinclair is AshlanaxiJewish.

Jews INVENTED the game of coming into town on their wagon selling fake potions.

Both Pfizer and Moderna CEO are Jews.

Jews like selling fake cures as much as being actors.

Go buy some nmn. It's everywhere now because of Sinclair.

You tell me if it does anything.

Sinclair runs a lab funded by and at Harvard. Do you trust Harvard for anything any more? If a Jews runs a research lab does he actually invent anything or just exploit undergrads who invent so he takes credit and gets all rights to the products.

Sinclair owns a company marketing nmn pills

By the way they are taking EDTA away more and more. Getting harder to find. That actually DOES pull calcium from your arteries and detox you of all your harmful heavy metals. Hard to find pills now. FDA threatened supplement factories that made those pills. They didn't threaten them for any other pills they made. Hmmmmm. They must not care about the other pills that don't do shit. Hmmmmm.

Now sold as pure food grade powder for food preservation. Take note.

You be the judge.

None of this is relevant. Everyone is trying to strike it rich, everyone wants to be famous and everyone believes their own bullshit.

So what?

It's very interesting isn't it that five years later after this dramatic experiment which got publicity with that picture of the old and the young mouse all over the world that no one has reproduced that and people aren't shouting from the hilltops how they've all reproduced that and boy you just take your old pet mouse and you give him a little nmn in the water in your pet mouse suddenly is young again like when you bought him! It's just amazing that no one's done that after 5 years isn't it. I mean hell you'd think the most dramatic aging reversal photograph in the world would just be shouted from the hilltops and reproduced all over the place if all it takes is dropping a little bit of this nmn powder which you can buy it any health food store now and just sticking it in your water everyday. Oh boy everybody's granddad should have their hair turning black again shouldn't it. Oh they're skin s*** all look beautiful again shouldn't it. Boy your neighbor should all be raving about it. You should notice all the older people in your neighborhood suddenly looking younger shouldn't you? Well gosh why hasn't this happened?

Of course. This is how science + science journalism work. It is also the rason (and your posts are the living proof) that you can take any journalist jackass posting even inane bullshit and guys like you will just go off the rails on some irrelevant tangents.

Science is hard because the universe is messy. Virtually nothing any scientist works on ever turns out how they wanted or expected. A better way to understand science is to think about the scientific process birthing not a solution but a miniature ecosystem. Every scientific enterprise must eventually birth an idea that has it's own mass, inertia and spin and will interact with a possibly infinite amounts of external variables such that while the scientific method gives you processes by which to try and isolate all of the variables, it is virtually impossible to do so.

Your skepticism here is valid as well and should be shouted from all the rooftops because it is a reasonable counterpoint to established norms that are not allowed to be discussed.

Chromium picolinate

Read my comments in this thread as well as the original article https://poal.co/s/Science/543207

Sure, this is valid. It seems reasonable that even with the most rigorously controlled diets that humans will be deficient in some minerals or other componets. It gets worse than that because there is no way to tell what is a normal level of minerals and vitamins for humans. Sure we have some idea of the range but humans vary widely in body mass and you cannot apply vitamin proportions merely based on that. Not only that, balances for men and women MUST be different for obvious reasons. To add to the confusion, there are at least 7 distinct human species existing on the planet right now each of which has their own nutritional requirements based on their evolutionary biological destiny.

Sure, maybe chromium is one potential variable, but the reality here is that there are quite a lot of additional variables to consider.

You bring up valid points that aren't readily considered, so all good.

[–] 0 pt

Yes the apparent fact is that soil used to have a lot of chromium but that particular element has been taken out of the soil by repeated farming as have most minerals and other things in soil that we used to get from the plants growing in those soils. Obviously if you keep growing the plants and the plants keep pulling it out of the soil and eat the plants and you don't put the minerals back in the soil then the next plants aren't going to have them. Apparently Bread used to be a really good source of chromium but it no longer is. Not to mention the fact that people used to eat quite a bit of dirt as an ancillary function of cooking and eating and farming because dirt would remain in the food. Now all of our food is cleaned obsessively so we don't get much dirt.

Read the disclosures at the bottom of this article.

And Sinclair is Jewish.

https://hms.harvard.edu/news/rewinding-clock

[–] 0 pt

I already posted that he is jewish. You aren't doing your self any favours by posting for the world evidence that you cannot read. Who cares if he is a consultant, everyone is trying to make money in this world.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

It's CNN.

It's Jewish run Harvard. Pushing their Jewish media star Sinclair

Who holds many patents and sales rights to the nmn pills and supplements he pushes worth hundreds of millions of dollars for himself and Harvard.

Somehow no one else has made an old mouse look young again like that photo by putting this readily available nmn powder in it's drinking water like he said he did.

Somehow even after 5 years of this story which got worldwide attention no one's grandparents are seeing their hair regain color or the muscles rebuild like that mouse even though nmn is readily available and could go in anyone's water each morning.

[–] 0 pt

Sure, all valid opinions. I am still going to check it out for my self. We are all well aware of all media being owned by jews, we have documented their standard methodologies and even documented that they have not changed for 4000.

That is the nature of their species (I consider them a separate species of human, guests in our lands).

What matters is how do we move forward.

If you really want to boost NAD which is what nmn is taken for then there's a form of vitamin B3 which apparently does it much better and you can also do it with niacin. Here's some research on the comparative effects of those. Keep in mind that this guy also is consult with the company that's selling his particular form of vitamin B3. But his research on all three different mechanisms is probably more valid since he doesn't apparently sell the other three mechanisms.

You are correct, here are my notes from the article:

  • eat once a day
  • plant food
  • good sleep
  • lose breath for 10 minutes 3 times a week (excercise)
  • take care of stress
  • social life
  • reduce eating of animals / protein
  • use cold therapy

  • vitamin d daily

  • vitamin k2 daily

  • baby aspirin daily

  • 1 gram of resveratrol

  • 1 gram of metformin ( i think this is a medicine to reduce blood sugar?)

  • 1 gram of NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide)

You are unlikely to be able to teach me anything about health given all of your links. If you want to ingest chromium, go right ahead.

berberine is a supplement (some type of berry) similar to metformin, that is easier to access
